Why? easy
Capcom looked at the Hw charts and decided to support the most successful co. out there

And lost a lot of sales
Cause on a Sony Platform it would sell a lot more and that is a fact.Nintendo could have 219837238472983 Million units sold of the Wii - It would never reach the numbers of the amount the user base of the PS3 for example would buy.

So you have the wormhole into the alternative Universe where Sapcom decided differently for the game and got the vgchartz-numbers from that universe? Or do you try to tell your opinion and saying: 'Cause on a Sony Platform it would sell a lot more and that is a fact.'

"We knew the 3DS was going to sell boatloads and we saw the perfect opportunity to make a Monster Hunter game with a very low budget and make huge profits."

Tell that YukanaSenix, he seems to disagree.

Anyways, I think that is most likely the real reason.

By your logic, Capcom, a firm infamous for it's shameless and rotten tactics to squeeze money out of consumers, doesn't want to sell more units and make more money. It has some strange loyalty to Nintendo that's costing it millions of sales, despite no word of Resi 6 and other major games on Wii U. Oh yeah, that makes a ton of sense.

that Kaijuu Busters game looks incredible for the DS
very smooth, im gonna get it for the R4 :P

I wish that video above showed the user character attack the monster, but it did look really good for DS.  So chibi style MH could've worked on the DS.

I'm starting to think it's because Vita said goodbye with a kiss on the forehead and never called back.

That's the only logical reason for Capcom's Vita support right now.

I'm talking about 4 not 3G. Even if it had nothing to do with sales I still don't believe it was because of "timing".

With 4?  Not entirely timing, but timing played a part in it.  I'm sure with the 3ds having come out sooner and the dev kits out there sooner they have been able to finish the game in a quicker timeframe allowing for a sooner release date.

Capcom wants this to be as mainstream as possible. In Japan it is basically already is even though it seems rather hardcore to western audiences.
