This line says it all, the WiiU version has online, MH4 will have online.  The 3DS MH3 is a cheap money maker, if it went to Vita fans would expect it to have online MP.  Stop making this out to be an anti-Nintendo thing.

No they wouldn't... just like they didn't any other Monster Hunter expansion or 'BEST' rerelease to have online.

It doesn't, and it won't.  Nintendo has sown that up already, in case you haven't been following the thread at all or read the OP.
