Don't get me mistaken. I think the prediction is absurd too. I think it'll sell way more than that. But using pre-orders as a basis for that is flawed imo

$349 Premium Edition... 32GB flash memory infinitely expandable w/ any USB HDD, HDMI Cable, Nintendo Land, console stand and charging cradle for controller.

The Wii U is launching at the same exact price as the "family friendly" PS2 did way back in 2000... nearly $400 when adjusted for inflation.
