Contrary to what retailers will have you believe, 1 euro does not equal 1 american dollar, a euro is worth considerably more, so by your count it would be more than 1 dollar per person. For the sake of arguement, let's say 2. Since there are only 7 and a bit billion people in the world and not all of them are gamers, it means we would all have to pay a bit more...let's just round it up to 10 American dollars shall we? That sounds about right. But yeah, still a cheap amount to pay to be free of Activision.

MS could over pay for Activision. Nintendo doesn't have 8 billion euros to spend. Apple google etc.... could buy them easily if they really wanted to.

When you want to takeover a company, you need to offer a higher price than the actual market value, sometimes as high as 5 or 6 times the market cap if there is a bidding war.
