I'm pretty new to the site and as such haven't seen much of the mod team but it's exactly that that made me vote for they are doing ok. I haven't seen anything that made me wonder if the mods were doing a bad job which is how a well moderated forum should make you feel in my opinion. It also meant I was more than happy to sign up whereas there have been other forums I have looked at where after taking one look at the moderation going on I have left and not signed up (my main thoughts are to a certain somebody on the ONM forums that used to troll everything and yet never managed to be banned, despite clearly baiting others into being banned)

Baiting? I have no idea what you're talking about, but at the same time, I've never hid my hatred towards spammers or better put, the act of spamming. The fact is you are a spammer. If it bothers you when others recognize you as such, blame yourself. But don't confuse that for baiting. My posting these days are limited to 2 threads and I dare you to find an example of anything that remotely comes close to breaking forum rules. 

Just because you're labeled as spammer within the community doesn't make you anything less against the majority of us. But there are those who don't respect those antics. Respect their opinion and swallow hard. 

Now, in case you didn't figure it out, that whole bolded point was tongue in cheek joke. I used the same joke in the Mod sign up thread.

I would normally ignore this post, but will respond since some members reading this may not know much about me or the other members that you are speaking about.

I will assume that you were being tongue in cheek about Radish and my age.  Radish is much more mature than some of the older members on this site and I am not senile yet.

I have a history of being irrational?  Let's look at my mod history... I see a grand total of zero bans.  I never once accused Seece of pretending that he was gay.  I am not going to lie; there was a time when I didn't care for him and I'm pretty sure that he didn't think too highly of me either, but our differences had nothing to with his sexual orientation or me claiming that he was pretending to be gay.  I have no idea where you got that from.  Also, anyone that is familiar with these boards will see that Seece and I put aside our differences and actually became pretty cool with each other.  I hope that one day he returns.

Have I ever been emotional?  Sure.  Have I ever been cocky?  Probably, but I do not claim to be a perfect human being.  I have done my best to not hold grudges with anyone here.  I'd buy you a cheeseburger if that would make your attitude towards me better, but I doubt that it would have any effect.  Anywho, that's neither here nor there.  I just don't want you spreading crazy stuff around like that I was claiming that Seece wasn't gay.

Which bans were extreme or cringeworthy?  This is the thread to talk about it.  

About your personal opinions-

I agree that people have gotten away with murder on religon and belief.  While you were gone there was thread about a man disowning his gay son in a letter that many members were moderated in for leaving homophobic and offensive comments.  There haven't been any "People that believe in God are stupid" threads recently, thankfully.

Spam is something that we are definitely trying to limit.  I personally think that while Pezus, man-bear-pig, and Spurge are not infallible, that they have each brought a lot to the site in their own unique ways recently.  These aren't the days of Spurge putting out a thread every other second or man-bear-pig misbehaving anymore.  There are other members that are far more troublesome.

I think that everyone would agree that Makingmusic should come back to being a moderator, but he doesn't want to.

I could be completely irrational here and moderate you for flaming since you personally put down Pezus, man-bear-pig, Spurge, to a lesser extent Radish, and myself, but it seems that I am not irrational and you are accusing me of being something that I am not.
