I guess I am pretty conservative in my views, but where I am very liberal is in my beliefs that the environment needs to be protected.

Now, I'm not an expert on these things, and I could easily be disproven. In fact, the only thing I've got going for me is seeing a couple of political memes on Facebook, never looked any further. But, I think marijuana is a far more effecient means of doing things that we've now had to find alternatives to, like for paper and linen purposes.

What about the legalization of hemp for this kind of use, but still not for drug use?

Of course! Use it's other qualities. Just don't legalize it for drug use. I also find it humorous how that was the topic that interested you the most when my other claims are usually viewed as controversial. I want to know people's view on baby killing though.

Views on gay rights, oftentimes, are based on faith. I am not interested in debating that sort of thing.

I do not consider abortion to be that controversial. In the company that I hold, views on abortion tend to be 50/50. Personally, I am against abortion, but I am an advocate for a free society, and I do not see how a society without a state would ever be abortion-free. As such, I also tend to avoid this area.

Completely invalid? I wouldn't go that far. It makes it very easy for a Chinese company to make knockoffs of your software and sell it cheaply, robbing you of large amounts of business.

How about: individuals who violate copyright law for personal use without intention to profit should not be prosecuted.

Patents only exist in the country for which they are applied for. The British law on patents has no effect on China. Now, Chinese firms are prevented from selling their counterfeit software here, now, but that's not their target market, anyway, mainly developing nations.
