Actually no, there's alot of people with Wiis out there especially in Japan, if the game is popular, it will sell in Japan alot in for the Wii, I doubt people will wait a few months for a MMO, besides its not really gonna be a huge difference in the two versions (unless their hooked into tablet gameplay).

Also I doubt people will buy the Wii-U version as they will probably buy better games that will be out for the Wii-U.

Of course if it wasnt a MMORPG, than people would probably wait for the Wii-U version maybe.

There was a poll a little while back showing that many people wanted the Wii U Version over the Wii Version.

FFXI is the most profitable FF ever! So no they know what they're doing.. but maybe they should have done an MMO and another Single player experience.

It may have been profitable but it was the beginning of the end, it ended went to pot after that. They should have called the came Final Fantasy Online.

Thats exactly the problem with making DQ10 a MMORPG they somewhat completetly destroy the series because the series will always have this stupid game.

Why didnt they make a DRAGON QUEST ONLINE and thats it keep the 10 for something better that deserves to be called a real DQ game. I mean they already have seperate series. Dragon Quest Monsters and Dragon Quest and Dragon Quest Swords why not make a 4th series? Dragon Quest Online?

BUT NOOOO why would they do something smart when they can "destroy" a untill now almost perfect series....

Just look at blizzard they made a Warcraft game that was not called Warcraft 4 but World of Warcraft and what? Its the most profitable MMORPG ever. Giving spin offs the name of the real game is just stupid. Crystal Chronicles is a better game than FF11 but Crystal chronicles is as it should be a Spin off.

I was really happy to hear DQ10 was headed to Wii and WiiU but as soon as i heard its actually a mmorpg i lost interest and was disappointed. Disappointing fans is not good lol but if they would have called it DQ Online form the very beginning i would have known what to expect. Same with Dragon Quest swords. I Somehow knew it was not a real DQ because it had no number so i expected less. And thats what we got not a real DQ game and thats why i didnt buy it.
