Dragon Quest X will feature an open-ended story, as well as features introduced in Dragon Quest IX, including co-op multiplayer and character customization, Dragon Quest X can only be played offline for few hours and need to access online later to enjoy the full experience. There will be a subscription fee.

That's why I'm never going to buy it.

I can see this mimicking mhtri in the west with no suscription fees.

OT: Day 1 for me of course.

I wasn't just talking about the Sub Fee. I was also talking about the "Must Play Online" part. That's a facepalm!

Wow dude. I remember when this was supposed to save the Wii from it's decline in Japan. After all the delays and bad news and it becoming a MMO...

When was it delayed? Besides, this game could barely help out the Wii. It's literally almost bought out to the point where most people have it.

I have DQ 9 on my DS, and it is awesome. But I don't know about this. Usually I like my handheld RPGs

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Wow, so they really are going with that method with DQX, what happened to the rumor that it was going to be free to play >.>, so much for that. Nvm, I lower my predicted sales numbers to 150k to 200k l0l

Japanese people have proven that they don't really care about Sub Fees.

Do you mean:

...not minding paying them?

...not wanting to pay them?

I thought it was kind of obvious which one.

I love Dagon Quest, but MMO? Count me out. No way will I pay to play a game that I already bought.

Its also gonna prove how bad this game is gonna sell compared to the past DQ games as well. I'll be surprised if it sells as well as DQIX for the NDS.

I'd be surprised if it sells better than MH Tri!

No duh! This game is coming out on Wii U and Wii people'll wait for the Wii U one. Also, it's end of Wii's life. Sales aren't going to begood for anything.

It's Dragon Quest. No doubt it will sell much more than 3/4 millions in Japan.
