All I'm hoping for is an Animal Crossing 3DS release date. Anything more will be greatly accepted :D.

Might be a bit soon, but perhaps they'll announce the Wii U Price/Release Date. Scratch that, just read the main post... no Wii U stuff to be expected. Oh well, I guess they'll save that for another Nintendo Direct.

Well, if they do choose to announce a new 3DS model for one of these Direct broadcasts, I would be very surprised. Games though? Yeah, Nintendo will probably reveal anything they want if they feel the time is right.

I expect alot of pokémon, alot of kirby, and sadly alot of mario....(I think they are over-using him)

Also alot of japanese nonsense that we will never see in the west (weird miniskirt cartoon teenagers fighting giant tentacules in robots suits while singing karaoke or something simmilar that japaneses like)

Also since completly ignoring animal crossing at e3 made alot of ppl rly angry, expect some animal crossing in there.

Finaly, HOPEFULLY we will FINALY see a major nintendo game on 3ds that doesnt involve mario in any way. (seriously, its about time, with paper mario and nsmb2 there will be a total of 5 mario games on the system, 6 if you include mario and sonic at olympic games + you could arguably include luigi's mansion since its pretty much mario-related. 7 mario-related games will be on the system meanwhile there is 0 original zelda game, 0 metroid game, 0 donkey kong game, 0 original star fox game, 0 f zero game, 0 kirby game. Srsly nintendo, I know you love mario and all, but you have other franchises... I think if I hear of 1 more mario game announced for 3ds before I hear about a zelda, donkey kong, metroid or any other franchises I mentioned I will throw my 3ds to the ground.)

I made a Europe-specific thread, here. Didn't see that this thread existed, so I didn't know to post in it. I now figure that, since the European one is being done by Shibata, it might have unique content, and thus maybe worth its own thread. If I'm wrong, and there's a way to merge threads, please merge it into this one.

So, just for the sake of the fun of speculation, I thought I'd make a quick prediction: Nintendo has something to announce regarding either firmware or a downloadable "channel" thing, for either Wii or 3DS. Kind of hoping for a browser update enabling HTML5 video (including 3D video).

I also suspect that we'll be hearing of at least one completely unannounced title. Maybe something like F-Zero, Advance Wars, or something like that.

I fully expect the American and European ones to provide a date for Pokemon Black 2/White 2 (it's the right time to be announcing it, especially with the Pokemon Global Link having just undergone extended maintenance to prepare for B2/W2 release in Japan). There's also the Lego City 3DS game to unveil - they showed off the Wii U game, but said nothing about the 3DS one that we also know is coming this year.
