your whole presence in this thread is soembody for whatever the reason is on the defense. I have not called any names and if I had blame somebody it would be the mods..people will only do what they are allowed to do.

Xxain , if you dislike the community here, you really need to go on Kotaku, you will find people with the same taste as you there, I am always there myself, and love it. this site has pretty much became my rant backdrop these days, i just write for the sake of writing.

Let's face it...those who complain do jack shit to improve this site. I'm going to be frank here but as Aj said above, these 'old' members coming in and whining is just tiresome. Don't like things? Do your own work. Do something to contribute? What was the last great discussion thread you made?

I don't know about the others but I will say this, The official vita thread is the ONLY place on this site where you can actually share and discuss the news without trolls. People like it. We had quite a few who joined this site just for that. Don't like it? Don't use it. Plenty of others find it a great place and we have a nice lil community going in there

What this place lacks is Microsoft fans...The departure of Seece & Machina destroyed like 50% of the microsoft community. I wonder if there is a forum where I can go to cherrypick microsoft folks....

O_o; , its a Blog about games xD , anyways well lets wait till E3, since there is barely anything to talk about, and sadly when E3 comes people were going to get childish and be "THIS COMPANIES E3 IS BETTER THAN YOURS!" and crap like that, gosh, gamers are so fucking immature some times.

edit : i forgot to add that i love Kotaku because they always tend to get the news faster than the rest, and their opinion is largely always positive because its a blog and not a "site" per say, so the writer of said article is probably already a fan.

I have to admit that the lack of creativity in many threads is disturbing.

The site also needs to bring back all of the sales data since many of the great threads were created because of it.

Also, I like when Xxain starts words with xx. I think that it's cool and shows that he actually has a personality.

First of all, your title suggests that everything you're complaining about in the OP is of no quality.  I even agree with some of what you say, but that's still subjective, so saying it's impossible to disagree with the OP (or more specifically, your opinion) is false.

Second, threads that stay in rotation in the Hot Topics are obviously receiving posts, which means there are obviously many who feel they're worth participating in.  Again, there are many I completely agree with you on; I've made four elimination threads in my time here and I'm the first to admit they can go overboard... particularly when they are designed to last too long.

Finally, you completely contradict yourself in the OP as well:  First, you point out that there is already an official Nintendo thread, so it's redundant to have WiiU and 3DS threads, then in the very next paragraph you complain that the Nintendo thread is overloaded with posts and is a chore to navigate through.  Which is it!?  If all you want is breaking news 100% of the time, that's going to make for a very uneventful thread, particularly regarding Nintendo, who is very secretive.  Personally, I think Spurge does a very good job keeping the Nintendo thread interesting for Nintendo fans.  I mean, isn't that the point?

I wholeheartedly agree that there are some threads that just serve no purpose and offer no entertainment whatsoever:  things like "What did you eat for lunch" or threads that are in very poor taste, for example, but these types of threads usually go by the wayside fairly quickly.  In short, I don't think your thread is bad at all, I just think your sentiment is too extreme.  You seem to want to relegate everything on the site to news or sales, but this is a community forum for a reason.  People learn new things, make new friends, etc when a variety of content and topics are introduced, IMO.

Gaming forum - To be the place to dicuss multi-plat gaming/ news

Nintendo - The forum to dicuss nintendo gaming/news/products

the is where the 1st change happens

Sony will be changed to the Playstation forums - gaming/news/hardware(PS hardware not TV'sext company)  will be discussed

MS becomes the XBOX forums - gaming/news/harware(no windows 7, lawsuits  companyext)

PC- game/new/hardware

eliminate: MM0,Online,game specific, dont need them. They can go elseware( exm..sony exclusive MMO can go in SONY forums)

All salestalk ( SW&HW) will now be transfered over to the SALES FORUMS ...NOT GAMING FORUMS

create a section in Off Topic called forums games - All froums games go there( elimantion, top/best/favorite)
