LOL @ the sad Guitar Hero comparison, You can't buy the Guitar and not the game, it'd be useless.

Really depends on how many Wiis are sold.
As long as it is still packaged with the Wii it will be the number one seller of all time for sure.

I think it could hit 100 million... it's got a really good chance. Probably better then any other game before.

The Wii sports franchise is currently the 42nd best selling franchise ever. Just recently beating, Half life, Warcraft and Age of Empires. Within the next months, it should overtake Metal Gear, Rayman, Harry Potter and Takken. If it continues to sell, and beats SMB1, it will become the 15th best selling franchise ever.
Personally, I would say Wii sports + Wii play + Wii fit, is a franchise. That is 38M as of now. That is 25th place, beating all the above, Halo, Mega man and Mortal combat. Soon it will beat the Kirby series.
