Pretty sure the PSP came out before 2008.

Also why are you so adamant on pressing this point when you're wrong?

Excuse me how am I wrong? I just provided you proof!

And by the way N64 and Gameboy Advance had console/handheld communication way before Sony!

A cable that allowed the GBA to connect to the Gamecube and supplement gameplay by enabling small games to be played on the GBA in conjuction with Gamecube games.

Hmmm... sounds like the VMU, which came out in 1998. Excuse it for the lack of color.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Ah, the good old "who copies who" discussion. Carry on then.

Clearly, you are insane. (This is not a personal attack. Just an Einstein reference)

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.

Actually, sorry to disappoint, but you are wrong. Sony filed this Patent in 2010, while the WiiU controller patent was filed in early Feb 2011. Fail. I could just see you reading about the Sony patent and flailing around like a magikarp out of water as your stuck in fits of "Sony Copied Nintendo Siezures" even tho you didn't actually check the dates on which these patents were filed. Nice.

And im a huge fan of all things Nintendo. Its just that this time, noone really copied anyone. It was different when Sony ditched the original Ps1 controller when the N64 came out, added 2 analog sticks and rumble, that was BLATANT copying. But who cares? The games industry is better because of it. Nintendo innovates, everyone does something similar, everyone wins. Next minute you'll be complaining that just because someone came up with hybrid vehicles a while back, that now every car maker is making one. OHHH NOES THEY IS COPYING! /sigh

Really dude, get over it. PSP remote play is the same concept, that's been around sense 06. It's really not that big of a deal. Sony would remold a PSV into a proper home controller than attaching buttons to an Ipad. I mean really? Why even bring this up, who cares. It's already been proven the move was being worked on be for anyone even knew the code name for the wii, yet you still think they copied that, guess what your where the controller on PS2 as well. I guess they must have copied that. And if you really think about it, you want two or more console to have similar concepts so games don't get held back, or an afterthought for the WiiU. Much like they were for the Wii.

.

LOL, they should lock the thread again because the guy didnt seem to learn his lesson. PSP came out before 08. They had that remote play thing for a while. Granted, it kind of sucked. BUt what is does is stream some content from PS3 to PSP, Not that much different from Wii U tablet and no GBA to GC connectivity doesnt count as it doesnt even do the same thing the others are doing.

Plus, lets be honest here, SOny has there own actual tablet, did anyone really think that they werent gonna intergrate the two to some extent??

This is not about remote play, this is about a tablet conroller

Which is a blatant copy of Lite-Brite from Hasbro.
