Seriou question: Does anybody care/realize that this means you won't see another Uncharted game for a while due to resources being shifted here? I mean your looking at at least 4 years until you see Uncharted 4.

I can live with that, to be honest I was a little disappointed with how early after Uc2, 3 was announced. I wanted NG to do something else and now they are.

Just seems strange that Sony is kinda killing one of its golden eggs given Uncharted 3 sales.

I'm guessing UC 4 is going to be ps4, So they have plenty of time.

Plus the trailer was made using in game cinematics. They already have quite a bit done given that trailer.

That's a shame. I was looking hoping for co-op.

I don't really see how being a M-Rated title translates to quality, but good for those that care, I guess.

There could be local co-op? Nah, probably not.

There's got to be interchange between playing as each character. If Ellie is the platforming / stealth character I think I'll find playing as her to be the most fun. Here's hoping for platforming that's much more... risky than in the Uncharted series.

I too don't care about M rating for its own sake, in fact it will reduce sales potential a little because there are parents who won't allow R18 / M rated games. Still, being a survival horror game it really does need to be M/R18 to have the right freaky factor.

Gonna be hard to sneak it past the family censor though. Hopefully because it's horror it'll get through, she seems to be not so strict on horror compared to other sorts of violence. Go figure. I guess the less "real" the violence the more acceptable.

I didn't know the characters would have different abilities. Good to know.

I also doubt the M-rating would affect it much. (the top selling PS3 games are mainly M-rated). Also, has it been confirmed horror. Because you know, just because it's survival doesn't mean it's horror also

I think the creatures look pretty scary so yeah, I'd be surprised if there won't be any horror in it.

Appearance doesn't necessarily mean it's a horror game. Horror is usually determined by how the creatures, scary-looking or not, are presented in the game. Something like Gears of war has scary creatures but they're presented in a non-horrific manner. Now, if it's presented like Silent Hill, then it would be horror. Either way, we need to wait for more details before confirming the genre. Too many possibilities from that trailer.

naughty dog has some sort of perversion with adults and kids. think sandusky is over there teaching them to be naughty... hopefully joel finds a fertile woman before they kill off all the other people. when its all said and done repopulation must take place

So according to this, this is a possible trilogy

I find it a little sad people find the game to be "M" rated as a positive.
That makes Crash and Jak worthless according to your logic. Even Uncharted.

*facepalm* It's a positive for the same reason people want horror movies, action movies to be M-rated since it means they won't have to cut corners to fit the rating. It has nothing to do with Crash, Jak or even Uncharted because they are not going for that kind of style.

We are criticizing specifically BHR_3's jubilation of it being an M-rated title, which makes it sound as like an M rating is a thing good in itself, which absolutely is not the case. This is a viewpoint that does not need to be rationalized against, as it is easily seen that so many gamers of a certain type clamor for companies to make M-rated games

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Any Idea on a release date?

Prays that this will be released in 2012 and not 2013!!!

Wasn't this game in development since 2006? I doubt it would take them 7 years to release it. Even 6 is too much
