- inFamous 2 legs meh
- I just noticed Killzone 3 dropped out of the top 40. Looking at past weeks, it dropped about 10k when LA Noire released, and dropped out the top 40 the week inFamous 2 released. I'm beginning to think so so many exclusives releasing in the same time frame is hurting the sales of the individual titles. PS3 software will eventually reach an upper limit where sales will be start to be split between so many games.

It's harder now because in US and Japan after the Week 31 GT4 was out of TOP40... if my maths is not wrong GT4 sold in Week 32 something between 18k and 20k.

The thing is, are price cuts coming soon? I don't think so. Normally, cuts are leaked around 6-10 weeks in advance (wii cut in May, leaked in March). So even if we know about the cut today, it still probably won't happen until September. Then, 360 will be around 80-85k, and PS3 around 100-110k (Wii 100-115k). That's too late IMO, all the boosts will happen at once and you'll have this HUGE Q3 loss... OT: Wii still first, but gap is closing! PS3 and Wii up in Japan...why? 360 in trouble (that decrease yoy, even with slim, is poor), as is DS. 3DS continues its slow start. Zumba on top=summer lull.

Price cuts or not something has to give here with abysmal YOY differences. In a different thread I stated that I think the price cuts will come close to September. however, It could be the price cuts come within the next month and there is only a couple weeks of the leak.I have a gut feeling price cuts will be here before the change of seasons.

 Im sure both MS and Sony realize their systems are dropping big since last year, and lets not even get started on the Wii...the price cut is almost barely having an effect on the sales now.

Wow PS3's number is really strong in America. How long with the Black Ops PS3 bundle go on for?

Take away that bundle, and look at a week without Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Ed boosting Japanese sales, and PS3/360 sales are within 10k of each other.

I wonder if 360 will surpass PS3 in any week before Gears 3. NCAA Football comes in 2 weeks, and Madden in 9. If the Black Ops bundle is over by then, the small lead PS3 has over 360 should be cross-able with Madden.

Looks like sales for all platforms will be going down until September. I wonder if Wii can hold worldwide lead until the PS3/360 price cut? Wii is dying.

Zumba doing excellent on the Wii and on its way to being a million seller for the 360.

I have been shocked at how amazing Zumba has been doing. Of all the motion fitness games Im curious as to why Zumba has been such a huge hit.

Also It looks like UFC Personal Trainer sold around 27,000 copies. I honestly was expecting closer to 50,000. Were you surprised by that?

As expected, 3DS fell ot it's dervedely place after the Zelda bump. Nothing can save it form the DS dominance!
