Actually, each month I'm set with a great new 3DS game to play.

June:
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D

July:
Bit.Trip Saga

August:
Cave Story 3D

Not to mention my purchase of Link's Awakening DX is imminent... so chalk up another game to add to the collection. ^_^

Ew, get the 2D version of Cave Story on DSiWare instead.

What happened to the third party support?

They actually have games in development ready to release for when the system was supposed to launch, or soon after.

Which is this Holiday season and early 2012.
___________

Yeah. I think Nintendo released the 3DS far earlier than they wanted to, just to get an okay looking FY.

"What happened to third party games?", that's a good question. At last year's E3 we got a huge list of confirmed franchises making an appearance on the 3DS, but at this year's E3 we didn't really get to see much of these projects. Makes me wonder how far into development these titles are.

Rol I Xxpect you of all people not to fall for that - Those huge "we are on board" List Hardware manufacturers use are a trick, All those games are not indevelopment, just Idea's of future games assuming Hardware sells well. Final Fantasy Tentative Title, Sonic Tentative Title( SEGA even admitted just being in the idea phase) , Castlevania Tentative Title.... not real(yet)

Honestly, what the hell is Nintendo doing with themselves right now? Virtually no Wii games coming, a major dry spell coming for 3DS, and still next to nothing announced for Wii U. I think they forgot they're primarily a SOFTWARE company instead of a hardware one.

tales of the abyss is coming stateside this fall, resident evil mercenaries is coming with a demo of resident evil revelations too!!!!!,u got thor : god of thunder releasing next month, tetris axis this summer, transformers:dotm is released now, harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2 next month, games are spaced further apart now till sept. i know it does suck, but from sept to dec the big hitters all come out and will help the 3ds, reach 800k sales a month with ease i believe.

IGN just wrote an article about the games from now to September. http://ds.ign.com/articles/117/1177707p1.html There are actually a few good games coming out.

  • Resident Evil: Mercenaries
  • Bit.Trip Saga
  • Pacman & Galaga Dimensions (contains Pacman Championship edition which is pretty good)
  • Cave Story 3D
  • James Noir's Hollywood Crimes (this game looks kind of interesting to me)
  • Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Unlocked
  • Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights (this one also looks pretty good)
  • Driver: Renegade
  • Starfox 64
  • Crush 3D
  • Harvest Moon: the tale of two towns
  • Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection

I'd say this list has a few winners for most people in it.  I'm especially excited about the puzzler titles, Dr. Lautrec and James Noir.

thx for the list, probably I am buying all those games at launch, so I'd be more than happy until mario kart arrives!

Hmm about 3 months in, and I have 6 games with one coming next week. I don't see what the deal is. By the way the games I own are some of the better games on the 3DS.
Ridge Racer, Steel Diver, Pilotwings Resort, Street Fighter, DOA, and Zelda.

Someone up their made a comparison of the 3DS Nintendo release, and what Sony was doing this year. He does have a point, but I think even Sony would love to only release 4 games. If those 4 games sold as much as 10 games. Which is exactly is what's going to happen. Super Mario, and Mario Kart alone. In life time sales will out sale every game that Sony release this year. So why do more when you can do less, and do even better?

Just because someone is saying something different. Doesn't mean their point of view is right!

There's a slight difference, maybe the title is a bit misleading, LOL.

I meant the must-have's, ones that you really wanted.

Ridge Racer, Steel Diver, Pilotwings Resort, Street Fighter 4 and DOA. All of those I would qualify them as like-to-have.

I do have 3 titles though.
