OT: besides RE:Mercenaries on June 28th, 2  3DS games on my "to buy" list are Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked on August 23rd and Crush 3D September 6th. So no draught for me.

Well, not all users.

For me personally, the games that come out this year are enough. But others who play more might feel differently.

I understand that, but people on here make it seem that a console needs at least 2 releases from a mega-franchise every month for it to be good

Those months typically are dry months. Only at the end of August do you actually see games being released. Oh unless you are a fan of Madden series, which I guess you love August.

Yeah i remember how long it took the original DS to really take off... Wii/PS3/360 all had barren first years especially the PS3 (damn it was horrible back then). I think MK and SM3D will rectify this. Plus i think we're gonna see many more titles soon. However what i really wanna see is a enw IP which hasnt been shown yet :/
