If Xenoblade and TLS aren't on NoA release schedule by now, I have zero expectation of ever seeing them here. They usually announce games up until the end of the fiscal year at E3. NoA has definitely decided there base is too casual for such games. Largely I agree although it still pisses me off.

Regardless as long as NoE releases them (and Pandora's Tower too please) I'll be happy and import. It's NoA's loss if they don't want my money.

How do you import games from Europe? I know of multiple pipelines to get them from Japan, but wouldn't know of how to do so from Europe (can regular British shopping sites ship internationally?)

E-bay?

I'm not saying I expect it will be released stealthily, but it might.  I'll hold onto a little bit of hope, but not expectations.

OT:  I can't believe I forgot about SAMURAI WARRIORS 3.  That's yet another NoA stealth announcement example!  And interestingly, the title premiered overseas first in Europe on  May 28, 2010, then in Australia on June 10, 2010, and finally North America on September 27, 2010.

That's another reason why I am not ready to  write it off just yet, but again, I'm taking a "wait and see" view instead of being extreme on either side.

Interestingly, I found the following quote(s) on IGN boards:

"
"nothing to announce" is not the same a "no" or "no plans"...
Exactly. The fact that Reggie didn't say no is sort of telling that it still definitely could make it over. When Reggie was asked about Disaster when people were wanting to know about it coming over, he pretty much said no. And with Fatal Frame 4 Nintendo said to ask Tecmo or something. When someone like Reggie says 'nothing to announce', it just means they don't want to talk about it right now, but will talk about it when they're ready, whenever that is." - bpumpkin

So that IS a small glimmer of hope, but I'm not keeping my expectations high either.

Also, when I meant by MH3 being stealthyl announced was that it was announced sometime AFTER E3.  But yes, I'm aware about the ads for it.  Even so, I didn't remember MH3 being confirmed for U.S. release at a particular E3.

I still want it. Badly. But let's face it. It won't sell. And it is already too late they might even wait an remake it for Wii U as well. A year ago this game could have made Wii look so good.

Well the dev team has moved onto their next project and in fact TODAY itself they;ve given out listings for many more people to join...they are expanding!

I love it when you come with great news!

Interesting, so if XB doesn't happen to come over here (which I hope is NOT the case) chances are Monolith's first WiiU title will?  I hope so, because I think what may have worked against XB's favor was that it launched late in the game.  Had it been one of the first Wii games, it probably would've had a stronger chance than it does at the time being.  Luckily that won't be the case for Monolith Software's first Wii U game.  Ditto for Mistwaker's TLS.

I suggest American owners start looking into softmodding their Wii to get by the region lock.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that we call it an RPG or a console RPG here, and you guys refer to it in an ethnic slur kind of way as a "JRPG". The term "JRPG" more or less exists for Americans to disparage an entire segment of games developed by a particular race. Maybe the creators decided they didn't want to bring the game into a market that categorizes games based on race rather than genre.

I'm sure that's exactly the reason why NCL has been so feverishly localizing all those games made by "Silly Gaijin" companies in recent months...

I prefer RPGs on my DS, so it's okay.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

This is so stupid - - - It would've been relatively easy to localize this than to actually make a game from scratch and it's better than having almost nothing all year - This is total BS

Very interesting, Soriku.
