I'm not saying I expect it will be released stealthily, but it might.  I'll hold onto a little bit of hope, but not expectations.

OT:  I can't believe I forgot about SAMURAI WARRIORS 3.  That's yet another NoA stealth announcement example!  And interestingly, the title premiered overseas first in Europe on  May 28, 2010, then in Australia on June 10, 2010, and finally North America on September 27, 2010.

That's another reason why I am not ready to  write it off just yet, but again, I'm taking a "wait and see" view instead of being extreme on either side.

Interestingly, I found the following quote(s) on IGN boards:

"
"nothing to announce" is not the same a "no" or "no plans"...
Exactly. The fact that Reggie didn't say no is sort of telling that it still definitely could make it over. When Reggie was asked about Disaster when people were wanting to know about it coming over, he pretty much said no. And with Fatal Frame 4 Nintendo said to ask Tecmo or something. When someone like Reggie says 'nothing to announce', it just means they don't want to talk about it right now, but will talk about it when they're ready, whenever that is." - bpumpkin

So that IS a small glimmer of hope, but I'm not keeping my expectations high either.

Also, when I meant by MH3 being stealthyl announced was that it was announced sometime AFTER E3.  But yes, I'm aware about the ads for it.  Even so, I didn't remember MH3 being confirmed for U.S. release at a particular E3.
