How do you import games from Europe? I know of multiple pipelines to get them from Japan, but wouldn't know of how to do so from Europe (can regular British shopping sites ship internationally?)

Well they didn't announce DRAGON QUEST VI at any E3 and it showed up without so much as a pre-warning.

Or Excitebots (which ironically is one that ONLY NoA stepped up to bat for), which just kinda appeared out of nowhere, was given a stealth release, and that was that

So what other titles have been given similar stealth announcements aside from EXCITEBOTS or DRAGON QUEST VI?

 

Let's see...

PUNCH OUT WII.  Not mentioned at any E3, but we still got it, right?

Ys 3 PSP -- Not shown at any E3, but arrived all the same.

DRAGON QUEST V -- Don't know if this counts, but it could be.

MONSTER HUNTER 3 -- We didn't hear ANYTHING about this title at any E3, and we still got it.

Based on those examples, it's not implausible to still assume that it may get a stealth announcement when we're least expecting it.  But who knows.  Either way, I'm not writing this off 100% just yet.

Well, to me honest, I really don't know anything more than you do, but I wouldn't write off these games just yet.  Nintendo likes to have other opportunities to present software, and we didn't get much in the way of Wii announcements at this E3.  So maybe... just maybe... we'll hear something at other events.  Aside from Gamescom, doesn't Nintendo usually have a Fall conference or something like that?  Maybe there'll be some new info.  If not, stealth release. If not, well... I don't wanna consider that possibility just yet.  All I'm saying is that NoA hasn't said yes OR no.  There is still A SMALL chance.

Never hurts to let NoA know that there is a following for these two titles and that it would be nice if they would comply.  Not that it may do much, but still, I'd say it's a heck of a lot better than despairing.  (So does engrossing oneself with other games that one hasn't finished yet, which is the response I'm taking here.)

They're brining over DQMJ2 on the DS and Fortune Street on the Wii (a DQ x Mario crossover board game). Xenoblade would sell much better than either of them.

Both are DQ related properties, though. They might be doing that to appease SE as part of a bigger thing

DS has a very strong basis for JRPG.  Wii has vertually none.  And MH3 was massively announced and promoted!!  Not at E3 maybe but we knew that was coming years in advance and it was massively advertised.   It's possible NoA could plop them out and they have surprised by dropping some other 'core' titles like Samurai Warriors 3 and S&P2 but always to lousy sales.   I would expect to see it Xeno & TLS on a release list at least.  We haven't.  If it happens, great. But at this point, I no longer expect it ever will.
