Forums - Nintendo - 'Nintendo Feel' -Translation

I think they might be trying to hard to copy the Wii success recipe(doing something truly new), how about developing the existing concept further with a tad more focus on bridge games rather than reinvent themselves yet again and take a major risk? They could end up being irrelevant and that is not a desireable situation coming from a gen where they were victorious (in total hardware sales anyway).

I think they're being too optimistic with this and are taking things one step too far, to be honest.

Finally something to make me interested in the project cafe. It's obvius that Nintendo is hiding something about the new console however we don't know yet. Buy after my hype about Move and Kineckt (that was destroyed by their launch titles) I will wait till E3 to see the games Nintendo will show to us.

This sums up my thoughts on the matter perfectly.

Hmm, first playing was believing, then seeing, and now feeling..

Seems like an interesting concept, but I don't really see how this can be useful in terms of the actual gameplay, other than just a neat little side feature. I mean think about it, how often would you need to/want to feel things in games. Nintendo has their work cut out for them if they intend to prove such a thing is necessary, and can improve gameplay experiences.

I just hope Nintendo doesn't get too caught up in these extra features, and remains focused on the actual content of the games.

" You have to try Nintendo Feel to really understand."

Sounds like the 3DS hype.

The thing is you feel Nintendo, and Nintendo feels you

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

I don't see people going "Mario would be so much better if I could feel parts of the screen".

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

You people have no imagination...

somehow, this is one of the most BS rumors i have heard so far.

I think the main cool use of this technology is to create totally new kind of buttons (like that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUWy2GW7XQ4&feature=related#t=0m20s) to create new puzzles or new way to control your character in a game. This could be used in almost every genre and add a lot.
