Forums - Gaming Discussion - Most Anticipated 2024 Titles?

What are your most anticipated games for 2024? Preferably those that are currently confirmed for 2024, but, feel free to list the games that you have a good feeling will make it in 2024. I have quite a few that I'm eagerly looking forward to, but the bigger concern is if I'll have the time to play all these games lol

Star Wars Dark Forces Remaster (PC)
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (NS)
Hellblade 2 (PC)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 (PC)
Dragon's Dogma 2 (PC)
Visions of Mana (PC)
Tempest Rising (PC)
Stormgate (PC)
Avowed (PC)
Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth (PC)
Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater Remake (PC)

As far as games that I'm interested in but entirely sure if I'll get them, or not 100% sure if they are releasing in 2024

Silent Hill 2 Remake (Gonna wait and see if Bloober Team actually delivers)
Towerborne (Looks like it can be some good fun, but depends on if I have the time or not)

No matter what, 2024 looks to be another packed year!

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

Considering I'm not expecting the Switch's successor to show up next or at the tail end.

There isn't as much that I'm looking for the most in the next year, though I'd say as an avid Adventure game fan, the remake of Another Code duology has me excited to begin the year. Then there's also the physical release of Sea of Stars and later this Spring we'll a new fresh start with the Princess Peach spin off.

Indie wise, the Plucky Squire is still my most anticipated indie so far.

Switch Friend Code : 3905-6122-2909

Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth
Star Wars Outlaws
Persona 3 Reload

If Light no Fire is 2024 then that too. I doubt Dragon Age is coming in 2024 otherwise that would make the list.

Tomb Raider I-III remasters. Even though I've played these games pretty much every year for the past decade, I still can't wait. Especially now that I'll have easy access to the expansions (never did get to play The Lost Artifact). I'm also interested to see what sort of changes they might have made visual wise and control wise (even though I'll most likely be sticking with the original stuff, at least control wise).

Paper Mario as well. Been meaning to replay this for a fair few years, so this remaster will scratch that itch.

Around the Network

Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown
Contra: Operation Galuga
Ufouria: The Saga 2

There are some more, but they are mostly remasters, so Im not THAT excited for them.

Persona 3 Reload
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

There are others I'm interested in like: Princess Peach Showtime, Star Wars Outlaws

I’ve waited a long time for Dragons Dogma 2 so that mainly. Dragon Age 4 is also gonna be fantastic, hopefully it releases next year. Avowed looks like it could be a great Obsidian RPG. Neva is my most anticipated Indie next year along with Slime Rancher 2 releasing out of early access. Hellblade 2 looks like it’s going to be the first actual current gen Xbox release so even if the gameplay isn’t it’ll be one pretty looking game.

Ride The Chariot || Games Complete ‘24 Edition

FF7 Rebirth is the only announced game for next year I consider a must-buy. Nothing else has piqued my interest enough to warrant buying it. I am looking forward to seeing what the Switch 2 will have as part of its launch lineup, and I imagine it'll have at least one big game to go with it (fingers crossed for new mainline 3D Mario or Mario Kart 9).

Of course, if there's only one or two games I get between now and the release of the Switch 2, that suits me fine. I still have a huge backlog of games I'm working on (getting close to finally finishing Horizon Forbidden West).

I'm a PC gamer, but my most anticipated game for 2024 is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. I don't think it will come in 2024 for PC, though.

If Final Fantasy XVI is releasing on Steam next year, then that one too.

We still don't know PRAGMATA and OD release dates...
