Now that Nintendo are no longer producing Wii U units they may become harder to find. I would play NSMB U, Super Mario 3D World, Smash Bros for Wii U and maybe Windwaker HD.

I am not getting a Switch anytime soon. I will probably hold off on Breath of the Wild and MK 8 until Switch is cheaper.

A must-buy console. It has great grames. To this day, i still play it. Splatoon, Donkey Kong, Mario. Virtual console games are also great: DuckTales and such. It delivers!

It's a fun console so I would recommend it if there are enough games to keep you interested

WiiU has fantastic exclusives and I loved it but don't do that, Switch is gonna have a similar price, many WiiU ports and a brilliant future ahead, get a Switch.

If your not getting a Switch anytime soon I would highly recommend a Wii U, if you need that special Nintendo fix you can't get elsewhere. The system was so underappreciated. Many gamers missed out on so much fun.

Yeah, buy 2 while you're at it. Get 1 to play and one to sell off for quadruple the price in about 20 years.

I can only recommend it, it has some great games. I would recommend Pikmin 3, Hyrule Warriors, Splatton 1 (with free online), Xenoblade Chronicles X and the Zelda remakes. For Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 and Monster Hunter it is probably better to wait for the Switch-variant.

If those are the games you really want to play then I say go for it because aside from Smash, it doesn't look like the other games you mentioned are going to be ported over to the Switch any time soon.
