That digital ratio for Cities Skylines is pretty crazy. It sold 20k retail in April per Famitsu so that's more than 40% copies sold digitally.

Great digital sales for ps4 titles as usual.

PS4 has pretty much the same sales as last week (542 units more according to MC, I don't know where you see 1.5K). I see no effect. I don't believe it'll drop below 15K, maybe below 16K.

My bad, difference is only 500 units, but thats my point, sold only 500 units more than last week despite several new releases, without those releases it would already be below 15k. And next week PS4 want have so many new releases, next week PS4 most likely is going below 15k, maybe even below 14k or 13k.

Isnt this like the best week for new software for PS4 until KH3 releases? If Sony can muster only 17k in sales for the PS4 :S Does not look good for the summer.

The Persona Dancing games bombed. Awful PS4 numbers, the only platform that is doing decently is the Switch.

Probably minimally, i dont think announcements of games releasing 6 months later does anything for hardware sales.

If Sony were bothered by the Switch and ps4 sales gap in Japan they'd have given it a much needed price cut last holiday in Japan. Instead they kept the high price point knowing that monster Hunter would sustain sales for the first half of this year regardless so more profit. You have to remember the ps4 is still up 200k yoy. It will be a good few months before it's back to even. 

 

If Sony want strong holiday sales to keep the overall 2018 sales good then they will give it a long over due price cut sometime later this year. That plus kh3 will do the job. 

Yeah there are a lot of factors.  It will be interesting to watch how it happens sale for sale. I know subtle decisions can make huge differences in the short term. From the rumors Sony wants to stretch the PS4 lifespan just a little more before releasing the PS5 but it wouldn't surprise me if they got it out the door next Fall, hopefully with backwards compatibility.

The PS4 triple pack has Persona 3, 4, and 5 dancing games.
The Vita double pack has Persona 3 and 5 dancing games.

Most people went with purchasing the pack instead of the individual games.
