Sony already won this gen.
Microsoft IMO will seek out a relationship with Nintendo to work together in the next couple of years. You can see them getting more friendlier already.

The switch is not a threat to either sony or Microsoft because multiplats on Switch will be inferior to xbox and PlayStation counterparts.
They will do their own job

At one time it was cute when people were assuming that Nintendo is in actual competition to Sony. It's getting kinda lame now.
My prediction is that Switch will sell around 50m units while taking around 0% of Sony and Microsoft's demographic away from them.

If switch sells aswell as 3ds they could be market leaders. Not that crazy an assumption
I don't think neither of them will try to follow Nintendo on this. They are too focused in 4K, cloud gaming and other things. And I think is beter this way, more variety in the market.

And lastly, in case you don't know it, to follow nintendos "lead" would be to go against everything that has made Sony and MS successful. You really think Sony and MS will drop AAA gaming experiences that currently require well over 50GB of data with 4k and HDR to go for 720p 15GB experiences? Naaaaaa, they were past that back in 2013. |
Bang. This.
Come on now, they don't need to do that.

Sony has no need. The Switch was created to not face Sony and MS head-to-head. I wouldnt expect any excitement this gen.
