With The release of MH4 the second biggest opening for any game in the franchise, lets see how it compares to the almighty MHP3 for PSP!

Things you might want to know... MHP3 is the 10th Highest sold game in Japan and the only one thats not sold on a nintendo platform which is a big achievement! Now for things everybody needs to consider... I'll Post info with the advantages of MHP3, this is to make everyone understand wat MH4 is up agaisnt... PLS NO HATING!

*MHP3 had over 3million more users than MH4 had (not that big of a deal)      *MHP3 had MH franchise well better establish on psp than 3ds had

*MHP3 released During Dec (Holiday Boost)   *MHP3 had 5 days of sales 1st week compared to MH4 2 days of sales

*MH4 has Digital Sales which arent included here                                                      * o.O both First week numbers lol

I LOVE GIGGS on 18 September 2013

Monster Hunter games on the PSP had very good legs, better than any other big franchise. We'll have to wait and see which one will be bigger.
I think this one might be the best selling game of the franchise. Best opening, hardware numbers increasing in a fast rate, and the coming holiday will help its legs.

my thoughts exactly, i think mh4 will sell less than mhp3 in its first 4/5 weeks, but mh4 will get a huge boost during holiday, and imo will have better legs like how mh3u did with 3ds!
