If she didn't look the same, wouldn't she look like a totally different character?  Just because you have minor features changed, doesn't mean you don't look the same.  It's like saying it's totally impossible for any person to look the same as they did when they were younger.  She does look the same.  She looks one in the same, as she should.

Not to mention, it's a minor thing, it's barely worth mentioning at all...  Beta UC3 Elena, and Final version had more of a dramatic, obvious change than "the two Ellies."
