As we can clearly see FF13 is "predicted" to have sold 450K on day 1....figures are still preliminary

FF12 sold around 570K in Week in in NA....FF13 almost did that in 1 DAY.....FANTASTIC SALES in my opinion!

and with reports of PS3 sellouts...the picture becomes rosier

so do you think this is a good start for the !3th Fantasy Epic?!!

Overall very good... but a little bad for PS3... is expected to sell 400-450k week one alone.

Way below FFXIII.

Expected better, or at least wished better. This is the biggest JRPG franchise in the west, and reviews didnt help at all. Also, development cost was probably pretty large, so it should have sold far better IMO then FFXII. Dont get me wrong, they will pull a profit from it, but I doubt that its the outstanding success SE wanted it to be...

Great sales, and it will have stronger sales than say FFXII because it is releasing in the peak years of PS3 and Xbox360.

Also if I remember correctly I read somewhere that FFX sold 900k in its first month (it released in December) but it ended up achieving spectacular sales, so there's no fear that this one will sell loads.

And I predict that this will become the 2nd best-selling FF title, and might even make it to the top spot.

It looks like it's somewhat outdid FFXII in the west, first week. To me that indicates it'll sell less than FFXII in the long run, including Japan of course.

Can't wait to see the full weeks sales!

It will probably sell little better than XII (less in japan but more in west) but not VII, VIII or X numbers.
