THAT DOES NOT SAY THEY ARE THE PUBLISHER it only list's them as the DEVELOPER.!

YOU ARE GETTING THE TWO DEVELOPER AND PUBLISHER MIXED UP.
IT STATES:
Final Fantasy XIV Online is a Fantasy Online Role-Playing game, developed and published by Square Enix, scheduled to be released in 2010.
BUT IN OPM it states that :
PUBLISHER: Sony Computer Entertainment
Developer: Square Enix
ETA: 2010

No! The page says the publisher is Square Enix. From what I can see the only people in the world that say it is published by Sony is PSM.

I just figured out it doesn't have the word publisher on the Gamefaq's page, so maybe you got confused. This is the part where they list the publisher. I do not trust the official magazines. OXM lists everything as

I know what you just posted, what i was pointing out is GameSpot may not be right due to the fact that right from the get go they only list

that post you just posted when you click the Square Enix it states :
Developed AN Published games.
Square Enix can develop a game without publishing it.
my point is
GameSpot can be just as wrong as OPM
but on the same Token one can be right and one can be wrong
and OPM for jan 2010 issue

hey i am fully reading the post.
Like i said Gamespot may be wrong on this one or so could OPM
BUT THE POINT IS
Its not so clear cut as your trying to make it out to be.
that info you have posted is from AUG. and the GameSpot info is posted online so we all know that ONLINE publication's cannot be wrong ever right!

I am just saying that since These very same problem's cropped up before when it came to "XBOXLIVE" that Certain thing's do indeed happen
and Since OPM has listed
Sony Computer Ent. as the Publisher of FF:XIV it may just have gone console-exclusive.
do to "xboxlive" design for some MMO's may not be best suited for XBOXLIVE even though FF:11 was on the xbox FF:XIV MAY NOT BE THE SAME.
