No way.

If you count the sales of the International version, the PC version and the PSN versions, the game sales would reach 11m.

+ the 590k FF7 International sales.

I'm going to say no, it won't.

It's good to hear that they are confident in it. After all, they speant a lot of time with it, so I'm expecting tons of content.

Either SquareEnix is trying to hype the game by throwing out hopeful predictions...or they've really just become blind and think if they build a 'bigger and better' Final Fantasy it'll sell more each time.

Even the most skeptical analysts are predicting it won't even surpass Dragon Quest IX.  And that game is going to sell between 5-7 Million (depending on the international sales).

I think that 10 million figure - or the 9.7 or whatever it is - is actually counting the PC version, though I don't know if it counts the international version.
