It is a pity really because it is better than both of the other versions (who else preferred the Gamecube one to the PS2 one?)

It becoming a million seller (which is definitely possible) is a 30% boast to previous sales, for a very low development cost (given that it was a GC game). I just hope Okami sees a similar boast.

Core gamers that have played all these games may not like it much, but given that the Wii is being sold to quite a few new gamers (and with added lack of support for Wii controlers in GC games, which are also pretty hard to find), I honestly think it's a great idea to release these updated ports, as long as they are budget priced (which is not always the case, particularly in Europe).

Cheaper games should have a place in the market. Retro games, ports, online games. Price matters.

Its hard to say b/c the wii right now lacks major games it could see a boost for the christmas season simply because more people know about this game then not

1 million : yes , but how much more ... I really dont know , maybe 1.1 . Anyways , this is nice for RE4 ... anyone knows any RE4 PC sales data ... if all goes OK , RE4 could sell up to 5.5 maybe even 6 million copys :)

Yes, very good controls. But I must admit, that I never before played a shooter on a console (always with a mouse on PC). I cannot imagine how it should work with an analog joystick.
