Well Gears of War 2 has been played by 2.7m people online, which is just under half its sales, I find it hard to believe that 90% of Killzone 2 owners have played the game online, there are only 17m (maybe 19m) PS3 accounts to over 22m sales, so that percentage does seem off

They would've been SERIOUSLY misquoted if that's the true extent of their words, because the article specifically talks about worldwide. So, so far it's NOT "to america only".

I always thought people said if Sony says "Sold" it means "Shipped"? Now it is different?

Anyways we already had the announcement long ago that there were 1.1M pre-orders in Europe+Others, of course retail pre-orders.

Now we have "SCEA" saying they sold over 1M copies, obviously meaning shipped again as everyone has always said it meant. Plus this is SCEA, I am pretty sure they are talking about America sales.
