If they haven't broken even, they've covered most of the dev costs already. Even if it's only for 40$

man that demo came out way in advance of the game, i still hate the idea of paying for a demo by its self, but it was a brilliant marketing ploy to reduce the cost of the game......
either that or they are going with the google always in beta thing ..... the game will slowly morf through out its life never being named a full candidate but being massive

The demo sold pretty well. I think Polyphony Digital should stop working on the updates for the demo and work on the actual game and try to release the game late 2009.

Its selling very well not even including downloads which could be a lot. It is impossible to overestimate Gran Turismo 5.
