It should be able to because it's doubtful anything other than the Wii will be able to outsell any other console by more than a milllion this holiday season. What would need to happen is 360 really take off in America and outsell it by 300,000 in November and 600,000 in December. Thus closing the gap to 100,000 which it would need to make up in Europe/Other.

Ideally it's possibly but not probable. Although 360 might be able to close the game a lot if PS3 doesn't pick up in America.

I say 80% chance the PS3 will win...

I doubt so but in 05 nobody thought the wii would be success so anything can happen.

on topic: I think that the PS3 will just barely beat 360 this year. Maybe a difference of 5-6 hundred thousand. That is still pretty sad considering back in January I thought PS3 would have cut into the 360's lead by at least 2 million.

So Xbox 360 has hits all its trump cards,now that there is:

Gears of war 2 bundle
Now it has had some weeks won,but not by much anymore.

Ps3 has PES2009 in Japan, not sure if it will help in hardware but it will sell a lot by its own.
