The other countries will also pay more for the exact same piece of hardware from the console makers.

Where computers are more expensive, consoles are generally more expensive too.

I have a valid question here, if a $500 computer can play Crysis with high fps on highest settings, WTF is the use of Alienware?

To take the money of people who lack the skills/knowledge to build their own computer. Honestly anyone who pays for alienware is just lazy/rich/uniformed.

Completely correct, they also sell decent laptops, one even had an SLI feature.

The people who buy Alienware or high-end gaming rigs from places like Dell or HP are the ones who think gaming rigs have to cost more than $2000.

Or the ones who think it's impossible to build a PC.

Or, if that's a valid excuse and you really don't want to build one, just pay a friend $500 to build a $900 PC for you (seriously, that's a lot of money to give a friend), and you'll STILL come out paying much less than you would for an equivalent Alienware and such.

For laptops it's understandable though.

Good to see. You guys that don't have gaming pc should take it now lot's of great pc games coming and million that are alredy out. Besides stretegy and online gaming are only good on computers.

So Alienware's components are the same as the $500 pc, they just charge out the ass for labor. ****ers.

They might use better components, but they still charge out the ass for the brand alone. Just look up what comprises an alienware system and look up the parts on say newegg.com and see the difference.
