The people who buy Alienware or high-end gaming rigs from places like Dell or HP are the ones who think gaming rigs have to cost more than $2000.
Or the ones who think it's impossible to build a PC.
Or, if that's a valid excuse and you really don't want to build one, just pay a friend $500 to build a $900 PC for you (seriously, that's a lot of money to give a friend), and you'll STILL come out paying much less than you would for an equivalent Alienware and such.
For laptops it's understandable though.
