I wouldn’t be surprised if 3D Mario ends up being a 2028 release. Got the next big 3D platformer in Kirby next Spring, then the next mainline Pokemon titles only on Switch 2 would most likely be Holiday 2027 as that’s typically the time they release.

For the bold part keep in mind that most people do not keep up with leaks so I would bet that most of the people who'll end watching this Direct will have no idea about that.

Yeah that was the one new game that I found interesting.

It's also nice that all the latest RE games are coming, but that's expected, and not something I havent already played, etc.

I hope Kirby fans are excited for the new one though. I've just never tried a Kirby game, so that trailer wasn't for me.

As much as I loved Kirby Forgotten Land I have always wanted a more collectathon style Kirby game. This seems more like that, so I'm excited. Between that and Ravenous, I'm happy. But I get why other people may not be. Definitely surprised Nintendo hasn't put out more of their A tier franchises by now.

I know some people have probably very happy with certain segments of Direct, but for me it eventually turned into Nintendo Direct Enema.

I want to be excited for new Metroid, but I pretty much hated what I've seen.

Pretty good Direct. Mostly thanks to Metroid and Kirby, but to have the release date of Professor Layton and the Ultimate Edition of Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity was nice.

I am firmly in the minority, I guess, because I really enjoyed this one.

I'm super excited for Monster Hunter Wilds. I've been holding off on playing Age of Calamity, hoping a major update would arrive -- and here it is. I've been desperate for new Star Fox multiplayer maps -- and we got those and then some. We got a glimpse at the new Layton. A funky Switch 2 exclusive in Onyx. A promising co-op adventure in Stage Fright. A new look at Switch Sports Resort, which has me totally sold. A free, nostalgic update in Mario Kart World. The Metal Slug Ultimate Collection, which I can't wait to sink my teeth into. A brand new 3D Kirby game, which has a fascinating hook. And, the pièce de résistance, Metroid Ravenous, which looks like a clear GotY contender. Plus a dozen more trailers. The presentation was brisk and mostly devoid of down time. I think the only miss was not ending with the new 3D Super Mario, but I imagine we'll get a first look in March.

I hope Ravenous keeps up with Dread. Anyway will buy it, hard to see that the bungle that up as much as Prime 4.

That's a fair point actually. I guess I'm more talking about those who do know better, not much the general online audience.
