Not only does this have little to do with the graphics race, it also has nothing to do with anyone putting down retro gamers lol. 

Wii U quadrabled its ram storage over PS3/Xbox360, Switch then doubled that.... The Switch 2 has 2GB more ram than the Series S. All systems are going to be effected badly. Nintendo is eating more now because they have better contracts than MS but one they have to renegotiate for future stock it will be a mess. They're also more invested in building a userbase as they've got the smallest of the 3 but the RAM situation is horrible, has nothing to do with any console warring here and will see everyone including Nintendo push more and more costs onto consumers. We can only hope new developments at the end of the decade like a potential AI bubble burst and more chinese producers help ease things.

But relating to the fact this is about physical media the Nintendo Switch 2 already has an abysmal record. There is no winning here, only a clear shift in industry direction.
