Forums - Nintendo - Switch 2 Price Rise (May in Japan, September WW) - $499/499EUR/59,980 Yen

Nintendo should make Welcome Tour Free and include Mario Tennis Fever or something similar to lessen the blow.
Hopefully it doesn't get even more expensive.

Welcome Tour should be a pack-in for every console. In fact, Nintendo should have included it in every console from the get-go.

Because Nintendo was our last hope for avoiding price increases.

It's French Revolution time.

The price in Korea has been risen today from 648k Won to 758k Won.

(Roughly from $420 to $490).

The funny thing is RAM is still extraordinarily cheap on a 20 year scale (back to the beginning of the Wii), and that’s not even taking capability into account. The problem is that our products grew to need a huge amount of it in a short time, and any bump in the price proved disastrous.
