Which is a great point for Switch only owners.  But for people with more than one console that is largely a list of games that are inferior to other platforms.

DK is the only S2 title that wowed me, I am waiting for more exclusive content. It does feel a bit limited at the moment.  Mostly because it isn't clear what the 2026 plan is for the S2.

Probably doesn't help that game prices increased a lot.  Stuff like Mario tennis I would get for $40, maybe $50.  But $70, nah.

In that sense though every console is struggling with games, as the vast majority of games on PS5 and Xbox are inferior to the PC versions.

Nintendo's lack of communication is kinda dumb, but there's a difference between us wanting more big first party exclusives and a system "struggling with games" or being in a "drought" which mean more an overall shortage of games, something that isn't the case.

I find the ps5 in the last few years massively disappointing.  I can't figure out what ND, Santa and Guerilla are doing.  Also all ps5 games are inferior to PC.  Ps5 isn't cranking out 4k DLSS at 120 fps.

The lack of first party games has disappointed me on the S2.  First year on the switch had botw and odyssey.  Both were amazing.

Though I did forget about Prime 4, good game.  I think Nintendo just needs to communicate more.  I am sure they have more than Fire Emblem for this year.

We're in agreement that they need to communicate more.

I feel like Switch 1 skews our perceptions because it's first year was so insane, and it needed to be as after the Wii U it was do or die for Nintendo in 2017. Switch 2 is less front loaded simply because it doesn't need to be, they have a strong brand now so they can afford to pace themselves a bit more and not empty the clip so soon.

Based purely off feeling, it feels like the Wii.

Benefitting from games that were being developed for a prior system/hardware spec, so there's a lack of wow factor but there is an abundance of software available in the first 12months.
