Simply adding context. You're allowed to feel it's slightly overpriced, just explaining why the difference in numbers is somewhat misleading since a dollar/euro in 2017 vs today is very different. 

Ofc, I'm aware of that, though again I would argue using inflation numbers directly is also a bit misleading since the amount of money available to the average consumer is the more relevant metric. But we can quickly agree that the unfortunate economic sitation is the biggest issue at play here.
