I mean, they released DKCR HD 6 months before Bananza. Pikmin 3 Deluxe came out 3 years before Pikmin 4.

I'm not saying it'll come this year, but I wouldn't take this to mean the next one is a long way off.

True also, they could be working on a Switch 2 Edition pack of DKCR and DKCTF to prep for the next release.

Sounds like a good strategy. Adding Dixie to DKC Returns HD might be part of the plan.

Good, but what motif would they have this time? I'm DKC2they had a military motif, in DKC2 they had a pirate motif, in DKC3 they didn't really have a motif, so what motif should they have next time?

A remaster with Joy-Con 2 would actually be a good idea. I know the bongos are the main thing, but they made it work with the Wiimote on Wii. 

Or shoot, put it on GameCube NSO and sell the bongos again.

They were pretty fun.
