Nothing too crazy. Most I’ve ever played PlayStation in a single year, funnily enough. Though this is the last until at least PS6… I already sold my PS5 for my new gaming PC.

I'm glad you Platinumed a game. Much respect.

It December to December I think. I played a lot more this December but that will be in next year's wrap up. We started PoE last December so all our PoE hours are in the 2025 wrap-up.

Voted A tier year for PSVR2

My Top 5 this year

  1. The Midnight Walk (Claymation in VR is pure magic)

  2. Ghost Town (The details in the game make it outstanding)

  3. Hitman WoA (The variety in environments makes it a great virtual holiday destination)

  4. Lumines Arise (Perfect HDR, great effects and music)

  5. Infinity Hotel (Room scale play used to perfection)

Runners up

- Cave Crave, amazing experience, somehow being stuck in a narrow underground tunnel is relaxing?
- VRacer Hoverbike, Wipeout on PSVR2. Needs more Wipeout like tracks and not HGP Circuit ones.
- I Robot, classic Jef Minter but I sucked at it too much to get far. (Need to pick it back up)
- Firmament, great story and world building plagued by performance issues and graphical artifacts.
- Audio Trip, great visuals, needs more content
- Wallace and Gromit The Grand Getway, fun but not claymation and too little of the actual sets.
- Pools, amazing HDR lighting, some visual issues.
- Of Lies and Rain, promising start but the lighting gave me a headache, not continued yet

There are more games I bought in 2025 (Wanderer, Into The Radius, Arizona Sunshine 2, Epyka, Vertigo 2, Into Black, Reach, Dreams of Another, Thief VR) all not got to yet. (And still have more 2024 games to play as well ugh)

And of course the evergreen games keep on giving

- GT7's new tracks are excellent. Yas Marina at night looks amazing.
- Puzzling Places keeps on giving, had a UI overhaul this year and increased resolution, looks perfect now.
- Synthriders the new Lady Gaga pack with 11 songs, a whole album, is great!

I have literally no co certificate of this post. Except for GT7.

They released the wrap up earlier in December and definitely updated it.

It added 31 hours to me since the day it was originally up, and my last trophy changed too, now it shows a trophy from December 22th.

Maybe they update it sometimes and if you checked before the last update you never see your actual full year data, that won't transfer for next year, you just didn't see it there yet.

Ahh yeah it did update more, including (some of?) December now

PoE is still at 266 hours at nr 1.
Hitman WoA still at nr 2.
Puzzling Places 74 hours (up from 63) at nr 3.
Audio Trip 59 hours (new entry, started in December) at nr 4.
GT7 49 hours (up from 42) at nr 5.

Total 38 games played (up from 34)
Total 751 hours (up from 678) extra 73 hours counted in December

707 play sessions (up from 600) 107 play sessions in December
393 hours VR (up from 337) extra 56 hours in VR, other 17 hours for Syberia remastered?
568 VR play sessions (up from 471) 97 VR play sessions in December, 10 sessions of Syberia? (We only played 3 times, max 6 hours, not continued)
35 VR games played (up from 33), added Audio Trip and Ghost Town new in December.

41 more trophies unlocked in December

It doesn't add up though. Audio Trip is a VR game, My PS5 says 64 hours played, the wrap up says 59 hours played while only counting an extra 56 hours of VR use. And we definitely did not play Syberia Remastered for 17 hours in 10 play sessions. Plus what's the mystery extra game it thinks I played (2 new non VR games played in December)

I wonder what it counts from my kid using my ps+ to play on. It doesn't count any online hours for my profile while he uses the primary PS5 to play online with my ps+ but maybe he logged in as me for a game.

Still odd it logs more hours for Audio Trip than for VR. And I played a whole lot more than just Audio Trip in December, Puzzling Places and GT7 went up too, I played more Synthriders, Ghost Town, finished Pixel Ripped 1995, finished Red Matter 2, found the last coin in Cobalt Cove in Subside, played new level in Kayak VR Mirage and played more Lumines Arise. So that extra 56 VR hours is vastly undercounted. I've been playing at minimum 3 hours VR a day in December!

It's a wrap up from ? to ?, maybe 80% accurate lol.

What do you mean, co certificate?

I posted that composite picture early December I think, can't find it. Google can't either, comes with this thread and the 2023 thread. Google image search only returns the Reddit post I posted it on. Did VGChartz break lol.

Posted it in a different thread probably?

The internet is falling apart as well :p

It did not add all of December as I have trophies newer than that one from December 22th and definitely played more on December than the 31 hours it added for me the last time. Maybe it will still be updated more in the following days.

I dunno why they don't do this stuff, like awards as well, only AFTER the year is finished and everything is counted, like it should.

I dunno if my tracking is accurate either, but seems decently accurate.

It's showing me 477 hours for Genshin Impact and I definitely used to play more than 600 hours a year, but I do have 488 hours for Zenless Zone Zero too, so since mid 2024 I'm having 2 of them to play, and Genshin Impact skipped a map expansion in the last update, it was story only, so it definitely looks plausible I played around 500 each during 2025. Considering its still missing some hours for both on the wrap up.

The other games are very accurate, 75 hours for Ghost of Yotei is spot on and I remember it was nearly 160 hours on Death Stranding which shows 158 so pretty accurate too. Ghost of Tsushima shows 39 hours from I getting back to it to play the expansion + the online legens mode, it added around 36 hours to the timer on my PS4, so it shows a bit more on the wrap up, but not that much.

Ahh. I see I started Audio Trip November 22nd, so not all the extra December VR hours go to Audio Trip. Explains that discrepancy.

But yeah, would be nice to see an actual date range!

Plus GT7 tracking has always been wonky between flat and VR hours. It only goes into VR while actually driving so either it counts menu time as non VR or starting the game before putting the headset on counts the whole section as flat gaming.

Anyway gonna add some more hours :)

I just booted it up today and it only went until December 24. I hope it gets updated again before it closes to reflect my final week of gaming in 2025.

Just saw a reddit post from 2 years ago that someone received a mail for that year's wrap up stating it would be updated until January 12th from the next year, so yeah, probably getting 1 or 2 more updates until January 10th this year or so, taking that older post as a base.

What I meant to say is contemplation. I know little of these games. I'd love to be into VR again, alas.

Fits well with how I ranked them over on The Greatest Game Event. Except Kingdom Hearts which I've just played here in December. Also I had 73 % on RPGs which is expected, PS is basicly my RPG machine.
