Exactly, PS4 has the top software crown and with more current users than the entire Xbox Series S/X gen of consoles, it continues to sell a lot of software every year.

To be fair, that should have been better communicated to understand the point. Like BraLoD, I didn't fully comprehend the context and it wasn't that clear. So I can understand why BraLoD responded in that way.
But yes agreed, some random tuber will certainly seek a way to spin this as negative for clicks. They have to stick to the agenda of course and it's difficult spinning the fastest selling platform in history by a massive margin.

Indeed, this is very important. A lot of consoles were supply limited after launch, even for a few months. Nintendo is able to deliver great amounts of devices, which seem to be close to demand.

Oh yes, some people come to the thread about Switch 2 launch success and Switch 1 long term success to take jabs at Sony for some reason, even coming up with future imaginary attacks that never happened as a mean to "defend it" (attack them yourself)... which is definitely not petty at all.

…or it could be that Astro has been out for an entire GotY & holiday season (and then some), whereas DKBananza has been out for only three months? Also, I wouldn’t correlate Amazon reviews to physical sales across an entire market. That just seems like a surefire way to draw spurious conclusions. DKBananza has already eclipsed Astro’s numbers (according to estimated figures for the latter).
According to David Gibson, a Japan based gaming analyst Capcom said this about the Japanese market:

Would explain why Capcom so quickly dumped PS4 release for RE9 in favour of Switch 2 release. This will be a boon for the Switch 2 given the amount of Japanese stuck on PS4 still in Japan.

Yeah given that these numbers are as of a month ago, it's safe to say that by now, Switch is the highest selling Nintendo system of all time, dethroning DS.
As of these numbers, Switch 2 has also now outsold the Saturn and Dreamcast.

It's most likely Switch at this point. Sony counts all game sales in their software total whereas Nintendo excludes digital only games in their total.

Then you could've actually quoted someone who took a preemptive jab at another user or one of the actual jokes aimed at Sony. There were a few posts you could've chosen, but you chose one that mentioned Concord, which wasn't even the main topic of the post. There is pettiness in the thread, just not who you called out.

Why is it that the PS5 fiscal report threads never devolve into the console war nonsense, whereas every time Nintendo gives an update, you have people arguing about the “software crown” (which TBH is a useless metric at this point since PS4’s figures are comically inflated by digital-only releases), others arguing about “wow PS2 lives rent free in people’s heads huh?,” and then some trying to downplay NS1/NS2 figures?
