Why don't you elaborate on that? Whats a mobile quality game? Give some examples of those games that are compared to those developed by Nintendo. I am looking foward to it

They want the casual crowd they had with the Wii and not Switch. They would rather make a candy crush like game for the money than make Nintendo games, it's even evident in their design now but they actually did try for mobile games. Nintendos wet dream would every IP being a pokemon go game.

As taste of the crowd they got with the Wii is a dragon they'll never stop chasing now at the detriment to the hard-core fans who even stuck with them during the Wii U. Unfortunately for them, the crowd they are chasing prefer many other luxuries over gaming and their luxuries would be prioritised with gaming way down the list, a fickle crowd too and they've lost the kids too with these prices as parents say "We have a Switch at home" during this economic fuckery, the Switch 2 is far to similar for parents to know the difference with 4k 120 and technical stuff.

You may have an point on this part, it will be a hard task to convice the family audience right now to purchase a Switch 2, but still there is a lot more to the general Nintendo audience than the die hards fans and the kids.

The internet may be pretty vocal to paint Nintendo as some sort of evil company, looking down on everything Nintendo produces, while sucking and riding on the shittiest praticies from the rest of the industry. However, there's still a huge lay down gaming audience that will look to Switch 2 as a nice deal to their gaming needs and wont even notice the ongoing narrative made by forum dwellers.

Bold: And another confusing statment of yours... Whats so evident in their design now that corroborete with the things that you said? If they want so bad the Wii crowd and not the Switch crowd, why did they go for a Switch route and not a Wii route hardware and software wise?

How on Earth is the Switch 2 chasing the "Wii audience" to the detriment of "hard core" fans?

Their games announced thus far are overwhelmingly traditional experiences.

I don't know but I won't rule out 70 million+ or even a 100 million+ lol.

This is the first Mario Kart that I'm excited for. I really like how mechanical, animated, and weighty car handling looks compared to the more floaty previous games.

You care too much about Nintendo.
It's almost as if you're obsessed 🤷🏾

I'm obsessed with the video game industry on a video game website devoted to counting sales and predicting things... isn't everyone here obsessed.

I see where you are coming from. I'm not there yet, but people seem to forget how, for a while now, Switch has become an object of desire and that goes with the brand. The current stagnant sales only show the brand needed a refresh, and people are going to be nuts over the new machine for this year and the next. If word of mouth carries well, price is not gonna be the "glaring" issue the more vocal people on the net are shouting about.

A nearly 97% attach rate, even with the bundle in play I would've predicted an 80-90% attach rate.

There's no way a 97% attach rate will be maintained, especially once the bundle goes away permanently or at least until future holiday seasons. Still if World can maintain an 70% or so attach rate it has a shot of beating Deluxe's lifetime sales.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

Switch: 161 million (was 73 million, then 96 million, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million, then 151 million, then 156 million)

PS5: 122 million (was 105 million, then 115 million) Xbox Series X/S: 38 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million. then 48 million. then 40 million)

Switch 2: 120 million (was 116 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)

About 10 million like the Wii-U version. I'm really not seeing that many people hyped for the Switch 2.

I’m not even sure if milk ages this poor.
