(did you mean to quote me here?)

You said always want to relive. I could not wait to forget it

i see. You and I have very different opinions lol.

Around the Network

One of my all time favorites.

Its one of the few games that I played through multiple times including maxing out NG+. It's too bad you struggle with stealth games. I feel like playing TLOU on hard or even crushing difficulty elevates the gameplay and tension.

I want to do a pkaythrough but I'm always too sad lately that I know I will trigger my depression to get so bad I'll be crippled by it. This series is so depressing anf I really wish they had added just a few spot where there is more levity and perhaps an area or two in each game where there is good vibes, in the mid game to break up the bleakness and dispare.

Don't play the Nier series then. No such thing as happy for anything or anyone lol.

I got to Ending A in Neir Replicant. Perhaps it's for the best that I didn't return, I do recall MoistCritial saying the rest were rough. I didn't find Neir Automatas endings depressing though, the one where you're the robot trying to put your self together, punched me in the gut good though, fuck that was harsh.

You play the second half multiple times. The game and ending change each time. Until eventually you reach the true ending and it's something special in game and affecting the player.

The infected you are refering to are the Clickers (estaladores), I also played it in Portuguese back in 2013 as the dub was SO GOOD, so I also didn't know how to call them the first time when writing in english, funny how your experience is the same as mine with a 12 years gap, lol.

The fact you need to use a shiv/knife to not get instakilled by them is a mechanic to make you have to choose between using the shivs (faca) for either protecting yourself or looting a room with a locked door.

It's fine to get killed by them early on, you need to learn how to navegate them, also it helps A LOT with the tension they add to that world, it works wonders to get you on, as you would need to be that alert if it that was real.

I do dislike instakills on games, strongly dislike it, but it does have that other side to it there.

If you want to talk about the game in portuguese let me know, I suggest we do it after you beat it so I don't spoil you by mistake, as going into it as blind as possible is the best way to experience it.

You'll soon be able to play Part 2 on PC too, and let me tell you, do play it when you can, don't mind the stupid baseless hate you see about it, both those games are absolutely masterful in affecting you in many ways, and the gameplay is a lot better on 2 than it is on 1, it's still one of the most fluidly believable and still grounded gameplays in any game out there.

Regardless, whenever you feel like talking about the game, be sure to reach me if you like.

Enjoy jt!

I've struggled with depressive tendencies for the vast majority of my life, but I guess we respond to them differently. When I'm in a down mood, I often want an experience that tonally resembles the way I feel inside. And TLOU has levity to it. Possessing a dorky sense of humor myself that mostly involves deriving pleasure from annoying other people, I enjoy Ellie's joke book. Here's a refresher course if you're feeling too down. Or if you're like me, you could buy the real world version that they've made into an actual joke book now, lol.

Fantastic game. Its PS3 demo was one of my last wow moments in gaming and instantly sold me. Gameplay ultimately suffers from repetitiveness. The game had poor replayability and average level design. But the core mechanics were excellent and so was the simple story. Direction, voice acting, emotional impact... all top notch and natural.

I also enjoyed Factions so much. Might be my favorite online multiplayer mode ever.
