I'm playing Anonymous, Code. A Visual Novel which is part of the Science Adventure series, most known because of Steins, Gate.

This is a series that I really enjoy. Finished Chaos, Child a couple of years ago and it ranks very high in my top VNs of all time.

Ghost of Tsushima on PC, absolutely superb port. 4k dlss and 120 fps, looks quite beautiful, has aged well. I love the variety via the combat system. good game, though a bit too many collectibles.

“Consoles are great… if you like paying extra for features PCs had in 2005.”

Hogwarts Legacy, I dismissed this game a bit before it launched, I didn't quite realise the scale of the game. Didn't expect it to be as big as it is and the combat system is great. Ultra settings, maxed ray tracing on my handhelds with Geforce Now. I need to get back to Oblivion Remastered after this which I stopped playing end of May, 30 hours in.

Disney Dreamlight Valley, my current cozy game. After this I may try Pokopia or start a new AC:NH game.

Battle system is superb; Hogwarts castle is just flatly impressive and fun to explore.  Only complaint I have is the typical fetch side quests.  Side quests should be fewer but better.  Overall, really good game.

It probably is the most I've been impressed with a battle system since Arkham Asylum lol. I think for many people the abundance of collectables (merlin challenges, guide pages, landing platforms etc etc etc) would be a major turn off. But I'm the type of person that likes the routine checking completion boxes many find mundane lol.

TBH I don't find the fetch quests that egregious, it's mostly just go to this specific location, complete a fight, pick up the item and return.

The type of fetch quests I hate would be someone just telling you to get them 20 spider fangs, and that's the entire direction you're given for the quest. You just have to go fight spiders anywhere to get the loot. But haven't encountered any of that so far. It's at least a specific fight and location rather than just "get a load of this item anywhere" stuff.

It's an amazing game, I played it on the PS4 first, but plan of getting the PC version and have another go. The visuals alone are worth the price, the score, the amazing combat, the progression systems, it's top class.

Halls of torment is great but this needing to collect and then buy 30 pieces of gear to progress the story is an extremely weak idea for progression.

I started Pirate Yakuza but dammit I hate these games in away, I can't sit here for fifteen minutes while you do a cutscene and the play for 30 second to move the character to the next 15 minute cuscene or dialogue cascade. Def gonna progress it when I have the patience but I might go skipping cutscenes.

Booted Wrekfest finally and I knew it would irritate me, it's very sluggish but I can't say it's not fun. I was hoping for a lotorstorm type game. I'll stick with this one though, it's pretty good.

It has been a while since I played it, but I recall really loving the deflect system.  the game is stellar, it really is.  I am still blown away with the detail of the caste.

So I’m entering into the second half of Stalker 2 (96hrs). Have 8 zones left to complete and I can honestly say I’ve not been addicted to an open world gameplay loop like this since Cyberpunk 2077. I’ve been playing with the Ukrainian language on and it’s definitely the best way to play it. Outside of constant journal scroll bugs on PS5P, the overall experience has been great.

Ride The Chariot | ‘26 Completion

Got a high noon meeting with the devil and the herald, and the Lockheed birds.

Right now, I’ve been playing a mix of action and RPG games, and I’d definitely recommend trying out games with strong storylines and cool characters. I really love how some games let you customize your look like how David Martinez Yellow Jacket stands out in Cyberpunk. It’s small details like that which make the experience more fun. What about you guys, what are you playing?
