After 4hrs of LiS Reunion it’s not that bad. Much better than Double Exposure but still nowhere near True Colours. Feels a lot more like the first LiS if anything. Rhianna DeVries (LiS BTS) returns as VA for Chloe, would have preferred Ashly Burch back as she’s a much better VA for Chloe but honestly DeVries does a decent enough job and definitely delivers the cringe and awkwardness that I expected from Chloe. Unfortunately it’s a mess on the technical front, running this in perf mode on Pro and graphically it’s struggling with very notable graphical and lighting glitches. I honestly hope if they don’t plan to retire this franchise after this they, at the very least put more time into developing it. True Colours was arguably the best in the series so I know Deck Nine can make a great LiS, would love to see it again.

I guess I was late to the party and if it was you who put me on it, thank you. However I did make one hell of a fuss on this site when I was playing it.

Note to self. Finish E33, then play something retro, then Reqeuim, then something retro again, and then get to Stellar Blade.

Just finished E33. It was pretty good with a fun late game. The ending left a lot of things to be desired but I'm sure there will be a great sequel.

Looks like I'm playing Poke'mon Conquest next since it made somebody's Top 50 GOAT list a few years back. DS is retro now right?

Current order of playing intent is...

1. Poke'mon Conquest
2. RE Requiem
3. Undercover Cops (SNES)
4. Stellar Blade

Replaying Civ Beyond Earth after a good 6 years without touching it. It's basically a Civ V reskinned as scifi, with different flavours of victory based on affinities you develop in your playthrough

It's a bit different from how other entries play, with higher emphazis in choosing your Tech Tree advancement wisely and developing your civilization with a more specific victory in mind

I wish Civ games had better AI. I love CIV but the AI just gets to cheat by getting free science/culture/gold/units for a basic 1 population city. It would be a lot more fun to play vs real people but nobody has time for a 12-player Civ game with unlimited turn time. I like the idea of attacking countries by destroying resources/trade routes or finding a way to make their society crumble without going to war. The AI cheating in the game makes that impossible since their strength is based on the difficulty level and not what they've actually built.

Doom TDA is far too long. 22 levels, would be significantly better if it had half that. I don’t think boomer shooters need to be any longer than 4hrs. So far I’d rate this is low 5/10.

Four hours is nothing. If I bought a modern game and it was only four hour long I would feel ripped off. Then again, I like short retro games, so just ignore me, lol.

Wrapped up Life is Strange Reunion in around 15hrs, pretty good game. Definitely an improvement over Double Exposure. Think I’m going to play a few short 2hr games before Starfield launches and takes 200hrs.

Doing a grab bag of 5 indie games I’ve loved in the past (Machinarium, Pedestrian, Vane, Flipping Death and Blackwood Crossing) and Machinarium is still the goat when it comes to point and click puzzle games.

Spider 2, my second play. I still maintain it is top 10 all time. Just close to perfection. Great gameplay, superb graphics, excellent story. Good variety and doesn't feel loaded with fluff. Just superb. Highly recommend.

Finished 8 games in the last 3 days, and yeah … finding some true gems. The Duck Detective games were pretty damn fun. Got another 24 games to get through before I tackle anything longer than 10hrs 😆

I've just recently played Duck Detective: The Secret Salami...it was very nice, though it didn't quite scratch the exact itch I bought it for, that one being Disney's Guilty Party on Wii.

Kinda easy to get playing Ghost of Tsushima again after a long pause, usually one would want to restart a game like this bit it's so forumalic and the story so uninteresting it's nice, I just enjoy going round and clearing the map and fighting. Can't remember anything about weapon stances but I doesn't seem to matter anyway. It's not a bad game but It's not exactly great either. I didn't mind the protagonist at first but now I kinda do because she's very bland and flat, she touches on the same problem as Aloy, things around her remain interesting as with Aloys story but she herself is off putting and bland to the point of repulsion.
