There's now one exception I have to the OP and that's FF7 Rebirth, I think the image quality has no right being as poor as it is compared to FF7 Remake on ps4 PRO. This is SE bad optimization but for this game I think the PRO would be worth it. I thought Blavk Myth might also might add up yo this but from what I've seen it's another fairly useless patch. GT7... eh, I mean, it's cool but not 800 euro cool.

Useless for some, fact is, I'm using the pro every day. Playing games again daily since I bought it. A fresh lick of paint, lot more room to install games, revisiting old games like buying a new GPU. Certainly hasn't been useless to me. However it converted me into a 60fps player, 30fps looks bad now, could backfire later...

So, I never wanted a PS5 Pro, but now I got one as a present anyway, so I figured I might as well use it, lol. And so far I have to say: I don't notice any difference at all, even though I'm gaming on a 4K OLED.

I guess it's not worse and the machine looks a little nicer, although I didn't get the vertical stand and have yet to pick up a disc drive. But anyway. After testing it, I am even more convinced that the console is useless for most folks. You have to actively look for the improvements, they don't just just pop out or something. I heard it will improve VR a lot. But I don't use VR on PlayStation so I can't say anything about that.

That said, it's still nice that the Pro exists for the few people who actually care about the improvements and notice the difference.
