Not speaking for men since I'm not really able to judge that, but for women, I'm gonna be honest, there are some porn stars who are definitely more attractive than Hollywood actresses or on par with the best if you're talking just looks. I think Hollywood was "better looking" 20-30 years ago.

For me I think Sharon Stone in her early 1990s peak was the last actress who was so good looking it's basically hard to pay attention to the movie itself. I remember even in Arnold Schwarzenegger's Total Recall before she was well known at all thinking "man this no-name actress is a total knock out".

I'm just inclined to think the 90s and early 2000s had better looking women actors, I mean I dunno but I don't think today's crop can match up with Sharon Stone, Cameron Diaz, Tia Carerra, Salma Hayek, Julia Roberts (if that's sorta your style I guess), Pamela Anderson (again if you're into the hyper plastic stripper look of the 90s), Michelle Pfefier, Halle Berry, Uma Thurman, Demi Moore, Monica Belluci, Natalie Portman, Famke Janssen, Angelina Jolie, Shannon Elizabeth, Heather Graham, etc. etc. etc.
