Comparing Switch to 2018 and assuming there will not be a holiday boost in 2024, I believe we are looking at 2.5 million for Switch this year. Still good considering it's age. PS5 looks to be trending in the 2 million range.

Switch performs better than I've expected. After the pretty flat holiday sales I would have thought that it falls below 40k pretty fast, but it seems that it can hold above 40k.

How many units do you think the PS5 will sell this year in Japan?

Switch doing good business for the state of it rn. No huge game in the recent months and not much coming. A lot of people are aware a new system is coming... selling 40-50k a week is really strong.

Seems like PS5 has peaked in 2023 tbh. They pushed for it last year and with new statements it seems they are stating it will start to decline.

Switch sold about 50k weekly during summer that year, I fear it won't be able to hold that number this year and be closer to 35k-40k in that timeframe.

As a result, I expect a bit less, so 2M-2.3M, which is still very solid for such an old system.

As for the PS5, I think it will be close behind, with 1.7M-2M sold this year.

Good Switch and PS5 sales. The latter will be down massively the next few weeks but that's completely expected and so far it's down less than I thought it'd be. Also this has to be one of the last weeks where the PS4 will have multiple games in the top 10.

All the big games of last week are massively down. Even more than I expected ratio wise ...

Expect for Super Mario Wonder which increased lol.

Hardware in the same zone as last week. Switch is easily trailing with 2018, while the PS5 is experiencing a massive down from last year but steady WoW, which makes it obvious last week software had minimal incidence to the PS5 sales.

Next weeks are gonna be brutal for it if it maintains these numbers or go even lower

Xbox falls below 2023 yer over year. It's still up over year 2022.
